Oh So Effing Resolute
Alright.
It's a new year.
Uggggggggg.
I got home from work at 1am last night and fell asleep with the lights on. I hate when I do that. Because I invariably wake up at 5 am with the lights on, and then it's hard to fall back asleep. Usually cuz I have to pee, but don't want to get up. My body is at eternal war with itself.
Anyhoo, that explains why I'm up at 7am writing this post. More info than you wanted to know? Yes. Do I care? No. Deal with it. My blog, my rules. BOOM LAWYERED.

Movin' on up, to the East Side
Actually, I have absolutely no desire to live in East LA. I'm perfectly happy where I am, thank you very much. You can keep your DE-lux apartment in the sky.

Straight Thuggin'
Hello again.
Due to popular demand (Jordan) I'm back with even more awesome tales of life in the bike lane (p.s I think I just found a name for my new biking blog).
So last week I informed you of new developments in my life. Namely that of my new apt., job, and getting an audition. Following that, there's not a whole lot more new stuff going on, except that that first audition turned out to not be a complete fluke, in that I have gotten several more since then. So far I've had 4 auditions, all for very small, indie features and shorts, and student films. I also have 3 more coming up this week. I've only heard back from one of the films I auditioned for, and I did not get the part. I'm not too terribly disheartened by that, since I've heard that if you can book one in every 10 auditions, you're doing really well. And the fact that I just started auditioning a week ago and still haven't really made the transition from theatre to film yet makes a big difference in my being able to make a good impression on directors/casting directors/producers. But that's only going to come with practice. It does make perfect, after all.

The End of the Sabbatical
Hello again Folks!
How ARE you? I know it's been awhile, and some of you might be feeling a bit abandoned. A little left out in the cold, wondering where your (mostly) regular fix of all things Tinsely went during these warm summer months.
Well as you may or may not have known (but probably do because I think the only people who read this are also in regular communication with the author), I just got back from my second stint working on board the Crystal Serenity, which just hit a milestone by being voted the BEST CRUISE SHIP IN THE WORLD for 16 YEARS IN A ROW. That's a long time to be at the top. Which is why they hired me. Yeah. What.

2 month update
I've had a lot of people ask me what kind of acting I'm looking to get into. Do I want to do television? Film? Commercials? Theatre? Am I focusing on drama? Comedy? Dramedy? Horror? Let me just set the record straight.
