Things have been a little cray-cray around her the past few weeks. When last we spoke, LJ had just had the first 3 episodes of her webseries, Girl on the Couch, read at We Make Movies.
It was a success.
Not only did everyone immediately fall in love, but Ted Schilowitz from Red Digital Cinema Camera Company was there that night and immediately had a strange feeling come over him that he'd never felt before.
Needless to say, he wanted to talk more with Miss LJ.
So last week they met and talked about what the future of Girl on the Couch might be. And Ted mentioned that he's currently meeting with execs from YouTube who are looking to produce their own original content, and he just happened to mention it to them, and oh yeah THEY WANT TO SEE A READING OF IT.
So this past Wednesday, we got the cast from the original reading (with some Asian additions) and travelled to Red Studios, where we did a table read for Kathleen from YouTube! She apparently liked it, but what's more important is that Ted now loves it even more, and wants to help us get it made.
Huzzah!
Now comes the fun part: figuring out how to do that.
