Alright, so what's new, you may ask? Well I'm still auditioning, still working, and I have a lead on a second job, so that I may actually start saving some money (huzzah). So we'll see how that plays out, more info to come. If that doesn't pan out, however, it looks like I'm going to have to take a break from my acting class for a little while. Unfortunately, that $200 a month could really be put to many other uses (food, shelter, etc.) and since I got rid of the car and have given up on ever having new clothes, it's down to either giving up that or health insurance. So yeah. My class has been really great, and I feel like I've come a long way, but it wouldn't really be worth it if that's what broke the bank and caused me either to move into a cardboard box or back into my parents' house.
In other news, I had another extra gig last week. It was for a little show called New Girl. You may have heard of it. I believe they said we were shooting episode 19, so sometime in the next 6-8 weeks, look for a weird looking caterer guy pretending to pour water into people's glasses while Zooey Deschenel(sp?) talks and is adorable.
I also just watched Life in a Day. It's a documentary that some people made in conjunction with Youtube. They asked people to record themselves on July 24th 2010, and then they took all the footage and made a quasi-narrative out of it. I remember hearing about this project when they were just getting started, and I remember thinking "how cool, I should totally record myself doing something awesome". And then I promptly forgot and never did. And now I'm sad, because that was such an awesome idea, and it was so well executed, and I wish I could have been a part of it, even though the chances of them using any of my stuff from the hundreds of thousands of hours of footage would have been minuscule. Ahh well. Live and learn.
We also shot another vid for our youtube group, Hi-5 Anyway, and I've cut together a rough cut of it. We're hoping to get 6 shorts shot before we launch the channel, so we can have a bit of a buffer and we can be sure of always having something to release on a weekly basis. So hopefully within the next couple months you'll be able to see the fruits of our labor.
Alright, I know this has just been a laundry list of s--t I'm doing right now, but this is what's on my mind at le moment. Final thing: I'm still working on my submission for Kickstarter, and I'd love to get your input on it. I've shot and edited a video for it, although I still have some work to do on it. But I'd love to get all y'alls ideas on how it looks and what I can do to improve it before I officially launch it.

Feel free to leave comments here, or on my facebook or google+, or e-mail me at eric.weiher@gmail.com with any ideas, suggestions, whatevs you have. I would love to launch this within the next two weeks, so yeah! Let's do it to it!
