I Don't Have A Clever Title

So I know last time that I promised y'all that I'd be posting on a more frequent basis.  That obviously didn't happen.

To be fair, the last 10 days were pretty insane for me.  I flew home to Chicago on June 8th, and came back yesterday, June 18th. In that time, I slept in 6 different places, in 4 counties and 2 different states.  I never spent more than two nights in a row in the same place.  And most of that time, I didn't even have my computer with me, so I'm lucky I even kept up with returning e-mails.

In any case, it was a great trip.  I got to see my family, visited with my grandma, saw Mrs. Ludwig and the new and improved Treehouse Theatre (sadly I'm missing the 25th anniversary party though).  I also got to spend some time in the city and hang out with my peeps there, and then headed down to Lincoln, IL to see Mr. David P. Knapik a couple days before he ended his time as a single man.

I spent a lot of time at home thinking about how old I've been getting.  Considering I just recently turned 25 and can now measure my age in terms of centuries, and the fact that the kids who are in Treehouse theatre now weren't even born when I was acting there, and now both of my best friends are married, and one of them is in the process of buying a house, I think I'm fully in grown-up land now.

It's weird going to a friend's wedding, because all I can think when I'm there is how much further along they are in this whole "life" process.  This is getting much more introspective and heartfelt than I was originally intending, so I'm going to steer this back to where I meant this post to go.

There have been a few new developments in my whole "acting" career, most notably, the short films I did for Chapman University and USC have been completed and are up online for your viewing pleasure.  Unfortunately, there's a catch.

Because these are student films, the schools have weird restrictions on their distribution, so I can't just put the link up here on the blog for anyone to see.  BUT!  If you are reading this and are interested in seeing the films, I can e-mail or facebook or text you the link and password so you can view them.

The names of the films that I have links to are:

Today is the Day- Eddie Kim
Still Here- Eddie Kim
Apples & Oranges- Alyxandra Press
The Minute After- Max Siegel

The ones I have DVD's, but not links yet are:

Consortium- Nick Federoff
The Problem With Fathers- Joe Petkwitz

And I know you're all really excited for Supervillains Anonymous, but that is still in the works.  Donte Murry, my director is still working on the sound mix for it, but I believe he wants to take his time with this one because he's hoping to get it turned into either a web series or a full TV pilot.  So I think that patience is a good thing.  Anyhoo, if you want to see any of those first four films, just send me a quick e-mail, facebook message, google+ something, skype me, twitter me, I don't even know how many different ways there are to communicate these days.  But find me on one of those outlets, and I'll send you the link and password.  Just don't start sharing the video with everyone you know, or I (and probably my director) will get in heaps of trouble.

Oh yeah!  There's one other bit of info you might be interested in hearing:  I have an audition with a talent agency on Thursday!  Huzzah!  Thanks to Megan Peterkin for making that happen!  It turns out that her aunt is a commercial agent out here, so she introduced the two of us, and now I have an audition to potentially get some representation.  I'm super excited, and just a wee bit nervous, but either way, I think it'll be a great experience, and hopefully an awesome way to make some new connections in the biz.  I'll make sure to let you guys know what's going down.

Wow, I am so sorry for the horrendous length of this one.  I considered splitting it in two, but I really didn't want to wait to tell you guys any of this schtuff.  But that's just me.  I'm a giver.

Alright, I have to go work on my homework for my writing group, CGETC.  If you haven't checked out our WEBSITE or liked us on FACEBOOK yet, you should do that right now.  Because we're about to be the next big thing in Hollyweird.
